2013.12.22- 靜物02 (Still life 02)



先完成以鉛筆粗略且輕輕的畫出基本的輪廓,不需要過份的描繪細節。在輪廓描繪的第一階段,最重要的事情事安排每個物件在畫面的相對位

置,讓構圖能夠有趣些。接著, 仔細的將輪廓的細節畫出來。不需要將前面的鉛筆線擦掉,因為它也是畫面的一部份,而且也可以被後來的水彩所蓋掉。Complete the line drawing with pencil loosely and lightly and don't mind the detail. In the very first stage, the most important thing is to arrange the relative location of each subject. Make the composition interesting. Later, Concentrate upon the drawing and get it more accurate. Needless to erase the previous pencil line because it’s also part of the picture, and it can be completely overlapped by the following washes.

   

2 先將全部的物體著色,如下圖所示

Apply the color on all of the subjects as the following pictures show. 


對於右下角的物體,我以混著些微咖啡色的橘色來畫。在畫的同時,我會小心的將水沿著玩偶的身體塗,接著顏色從身體自動的擴散出去。

To down-right subject, I use orange mixed with kinda brown to paint the body of doll. Meanwhile, I carefully brush the water along the boundary of the body and make the color diffuse off the body automatically.


對於其它的物體,我使用筆觸粗略的模仿玩偶身體的質感,當水彩快要乾的時候,我會在著色區的部分邊緣刷上一層水以讓邊緣盡可能的模糊。這邊需注意的是,要保持邊緣清楚與模糊的互相搭配,才不會讓邊緣太軟。至於黃色的玩偶,我則是混了些紫色讓色彩富有些變化。
To the other subjects, I use the stokes to loosely simulate the texture of the body of dolls, and apply the water on part of the boundary of wash when it is going to dry in order to blend the boundary as smooth as possible.Notice the intermixing of clear and blurry boundary, otherwise it could be too soft. As to yellow doll, I add a little purple to get  the variety of color.



先將背景全部打濕,然後一個接一個將背景分段完成。
Wet the background thoroughly, and paint each part of the background respectively.



我利用濕中濕的技法來處理背景。整個程序可以分為幾個步驟。首先,根據畫面的設計,使用紅色或是咖啡色畫出第一層背景。接著,趁著畫面快要乾的時候,再畫上更小的第二層色彩(深咖啡色或是黑色)以在背景上描繪出有趣的形狀。在這裡我嘗試著使用幾何的形狀來裝飾背景。這裡主要是根據自己的藝術感來判斷改怎麼畫,因此無法精確的說明原因。

I take advantage of wet-in-wet technique to deal with the background.The process can be divided into several steps. In the beginning, paint the first wash with red or black according to the picture design. Then, apply the second smaller wash (dark brown or black) when the first wash is going to dry in order to work up the interesting patterns on the background. In this part, I try to use geometric patterns to decorate the background. There is no reason to precisely explain why I use it except the feeling of art.  



4 接著完成玩偶的面具與標籤,並且在玩偶身體上畫出第二層色彩,以讓它更有立體感

Complete the masks and labels of the dolls. Paint the second washes on the bodies of dolls, which can make them more stereo. 


畫出鍊子將玩偶和標籤連起來。

Paint the chain to link the dolls up with their labels.


5 最後,標籤上加入文字,並且利用白色的不透明顏料來畫出鍊子上的反光

Finally, add some words on the labels, and use the white opaque pigment to highlight the reflection on the chains.
